i've finally bought f.i.r's dvd and can strike off one of the items in my wishlist! =D i've spent so much this week. i'm in good mood. i've gone on 3 shopping trips this week. shopping is great!

an enjoyable day well-spent today. let me think, during history lecture, my history tutor said we had to study because of "white bastards". wow! he joked today. that's a miracle.

then jan and i went to meet up with wenz and xiaoli to buy xx's birthday present. =D i've finally managed to meet up with my old friends. ever since i stepped into sa, i'd never gone out with any of my classmates.we bought a marshmallow bolster and a necklace for xx. jan was feeling grumpy because she had to shop with a thick econs book. we wondered why she chose this day to bring that thick, dumb book home. wenz kept giggling for no reason and i sort of got infected. laughter is contagious. =S haha* indeed, today's a nice, mini outing.

2nd day of learning festival.

film appreciation on the movie "the piano". i thought my english was so bad i couldn't understand anything that the actors were saying. luckily the teacher said the audio wasn't very clear, if not, i'd have mistaken that my english's atrocious. it's a nice story. highly recommended but it's m-18. =P



then i went for grasshopper weaving. i showed my mum the grasshoppers i've made and she insisted that there should be some more steps. she said there's supposed to be a pair of wings. i don't know. i did all the trainers taught us.

and i ran out of the school with opg today. wah. i think we're crazy.

learning festival started off with a jazz band performance. the vocal singer was not bad, but i dislike the fact that i'm sitting beside a bunch of morons. when the girl announced that she'll be singing f.i.r's song, they asked each other who's f.i.r? and the other person replied, "fir." as in the plant. stupid morons. i stared at the guy when he tried to lie down on his friend at the back and hit me with his book. but it didn't affect him in any way, so i moved to another side to let him have all the space he had wanted. immature stupid guy with no backbone.

why did i sign that up? i don't know. i just saw that it would be ending at 2, probably one of the earliest. but the faciliator's ms k. someone whom the bimbos and rule-breakers wouldn't want to meet. she'd shout at you in the face or even across the corridor if your skirt is too short or if you break any rule. i didn't notice that till opg told me. anyway, she didn't catch me for anything so, that's alright.

i'm addicted to a korean show called da chang jin. my god. how am i going to concentrate on my studies? =P

and i've bought a book written by 4/3 to support my friend. hera drew the picture. i'm so impressed. =)

met up with singwen just now. it's great to meet up with old friends. i haven't seen her for almost a year? she's still the same. but I've finally managed to go out. =) i'm glad there aren't many people in town today.

racial harmony day celebration

so the first 3 periods of lessons are being cancelled. my day was well-spent. hwa chong institution boarding school is nice. it's almost like a resort. one can overlook the whole stretch of land which belongs to hc. change the name and i'll believe i was in a resort.

back to the performance, it's all gone in a flash of eyes. =D i didn't even know what i was doing there at that point of time. i anyhow played it and faked. boy, i'm good at acting.

afterwhich, we had dinner. everybody queued up to get dinner. the guys were distributing the food and dunno-who gave me the brocolli. after the rice, i refused to take those meat which looked unappealing and a person after that gave me a whole scoop of brocolli. apart from the two fishballs, i felt like I'm a vegetarian. sinyi was shocked at the amount of food they had given me. that's really a whole scoop of brocolli and fried rice. in the end, i took some mushrooms from sinyi. very good meal for dieting. =P

HAPPY 17th BIRTHDAY, YAN!!! =D

=D zino, my cousin's dog, is sssoooo cute. i went up to see him with my mum and he barked upon hearing the keys rang. he had wanted to get down from the bed, but didn't dare to. then he made the grrr... noise which my aunt said it sounded like a frog. mum decided to lure him down using biscuits, but he didn't jump down though. when my da yi said byebye to zino and pretended that she was going out, zino jumped down from the bed and went gambolling around my aunt's legs. he's such a cutie-pie.

later, when we were going home, my aunt made zino think that she was going out. after Zino went out of the house, my aunt closed the door and he looked so innocent and helpless, yelping for help outside the door. he didn't even follow my mum and me. that's why people always say, dogs are man's best friends. they're loyal and intelligent. =D

was praying with xiao penguin that it'd rain today. unfortunately, it didn't. good thing is that we didn't have our napha today. we took our height and weight! see, i'm gleeing, so that means i've lost weight. i've reached my targetted weight. i'm so happy. =D

i've finished reading the whole book of return engagement. =D i'm so proud of myself once again. the plot is nice and sweet. typical modern fairy tale but that's what all women want in real life. =P

minz gave me a big, yellow and personalized cushion for my SUPER BELATED birthday. But since it's so nicely done, i'll forget about it being a super belated birthday present. =D it has a flower on it. artistic one, clinging on to the alphabets of my name. though it feels ticklish upon carrying it, it's still very sweet of her. =D

my dad has developed a strange hobby of switching to suria on sundays morning. it was broadcasting a documentary on leopards. the leopards runing after their prey is superb. they can run VERY fast and they're ferocious when tearing up their prey. the most exciting part was when a leopard caught a deer, or is it goat, and fought with it. my dad and i both thought the deer would become another sacrificial item for the leopard's lunch. to our horror, the deer actually managed to survive! that's such a rare case.

at the beginning of the documentary, the cubs were still young. after that, they gradually grew up and they managed to catch their own prey. the whole family went around together and when they catch a prey, they'd share it. it's disgusting the way they tear their prey up. they pull in different directions, with one leopard biting the neck of the deer or goat or horse. and the worse thing is, their prey was eaten alive! =( the goat had died with its eyes open!

life. only the strongest survive.

another shopping day!~ this time to search for an ideal present from my mum.

i saw a cat pooing by the roadside while i was waiting for a bus. i was sitting directly in front of a patch of grasses and just happened to see the cat behaving very weirdly. it walked around in circles and then i saw something coming out from its butt. o.O just like squeezing cream out of your tube of pimple cream. there it goes. LoL... the cat was so cute. after that, it started to dig up the soil in the grass patch and hid the poo. =D it's so thoughtful, isn't it?


people were flooding the roads everywhere. i really think all the jaywalkers should get knocked down by cars. they don't think of the consequences when they cross the roads as if the roads belong to them. they deserve it.

dear, thanks for the sumptuous lunch and for accompanying me to get the present! yup, and not forgetting to thank you for sharing the cost of the present with me! =D it's a tiring day going to bugis and orchard. at last, we've managed to find a bag which i think my mum will like.

working on a book. hope to complete it by next week. =D

i've just come back from orchard with yan. =D it's a joyful day.

it's a fun day. of course, going to orchard means photo-taking session! =D it's only the 2nd neoprint i've taken with her. i nearly died laughing because we got hit by the curtain which was being scrolled down and yan was hidden by the thing. then we posed and waited. what happen?? why did we not hear any sounds of camera shots? we forgot we had to press the screen. (o"o) totally idiotic.



then we went to buy some stuffs and walked around. tried on some shoes and how i hope to remain in those shoes for today... we went to find something to try on at isetan. i embarrassed myself because when I turned to my back to speak to yan, she was already on the other side of me. and I said very loudly, "how's it?" only to discover that she's not yan. it's so damn embarrassing. in the dressing room, yan couldn't support the dress up. i got a medium for her but she couldn't wear it. the both of us were laughing so hard i didn't really notice how she looked like in that dress. it's too big for her.
